What are Tooth-Colored Fillings?
We are dedicated to providing beautiful, natural-looking dental restorations without the use of traditional metal fillings. Tooth-colored fillings are made from composite resin, which is a blend of dental plastics and glass particles. These are custom-made to match the natural shade of your teeth. This composite resin can be used to fill cavities, repair chips and cracks, or to restore the shape and appearance of worn-down teeth.
How Long Do Tooth-Colored Fillings Last?
When well cared for, a composite dental restoration can last for many years. It is important to care for your restorations as you do your natural teeth. Brush at least twice a day and floss daily to keep your smile healthy and bright. Also, be sure to visit our office at least twice a year, so we can check on your restorations.
Are Tooth-Colored Fillings Safe?
Yes! The restorations we use including tooth-colored fillings are safe. They contain no harmful metals or alloys. Composite fillings are approved by the FDA, and they have been used in restorative dentistry for decades.

Does it Hurt to Get a Filling?
Our gentle team works hard to ensure that getting a filling is an easy, comfortable experience. We use local anesthesia to numb the area before placing your filling. If you are concerned about discomfort, be sure to ask us about laughing gas to make your treatment as relaxed and stress-free as possible.
